If you like final fantasy, this is a close style and fun to play! The campaign (story mode) is very short though, hence 4 stars.
Its been pretty entertaining thus far
Great strategy game. Recommend to friends.
The gameplay is turn based and interesting.
Very solid game all around. Well balanced game mechanics. Very addictive, and also very fun
A ton of fun well balanced. Only complaint is a lacking single player campaign.
This game is a perfect blend between a turn based game and a card based game. It has just enough strategy to feel like youre in control of the outcome but it still has a random element to keep things interesting.
2 stars until they fix the game and stop it from dropping me 50% of the time.
The stamina is a terrible mechanic
I would give this game five stars if it didnt crash every few matches or so. And the crashes wouldnt be so inhibitive if I were at least able to reconnect to the match in progress upon restarting the app.
Get this game fo sho. Must get app.
I like the game. Its better to play all day long with this one! Congratulations on making it!
Great blend of strategy and options. Very fun.
There are lots of card battling games but this is different than any Ive seen. And its fun.
Love love love
A lot like Hearthstone but with a Final Fantasy mix. A lot of fun
Decent game that doesnt require in-game purchases to stay reasonably competitive. However, the app has a definite problem with crashes. Expect three or four crashes in a 20 minute session, possibly in the middle of a match. Edit: Had to bump down from four stars to three for continued stability issues.
Mavenfall brings genius innovation to CCGs. Nostalgic SNES feel with simple yet deep strategy keeps me coming back. But! The game crashes waaaay too frequently: 40-50% of the time between both players. There is also a bug that crashes the game when you edit a Mavens deck post-level-up that reduces the maven to the previous level. Had to deal with it a dozen times or more so far - very frustrating. Im sure the devs are working on it, but we users have a duty to inform. I think Mavenfall is five stars, easy, once some key features are fixed. Thanks for making this game, and I am looking forward to another couple dozen mavens in the future!
This game is everything I was looking for: a fun turn-based strategy card game where you assemble a team and pit yours vs an opponents. The graphics are fun and whimsically memorable. The concept is just wonderful. The execution is a shame. These developers care more about making money than making a really good game. The prices for cards are extremely, ridiculously off the wall crazy. Ive been playing this game and hearthstone for a while now, and Im hearthstone I can win a pack of new cards for just completing a few quests. In this game, you spend hours saving up gold for one card that almost always is something you dont need or cant use. The only way to get good cards and build a good team is to surrender your money to these scheming Dev-thieves.
